2. Pseudonymized Use of the Website

In principle, you can visit our websites without sharing personal information with us. Pseudonymized usage data will not be merged with personal data pertaining to the bearer of the pseudonym. The creation of a user profile under a pseudonym is not evaluated.

3. Particular Features of the Website/Mobile Applications

Our web page and mobile applications offer various features; by using these features, your personal data is collected, processed and stored by us. What happens with this data is specified below:

Contact Form:

The data collected through our contact form will only be used in processing requests entered through the contact form. After the request has been processed, the data collected will be deleted within six months.

Newsletter:

The data collected on our newsletter’s login window will exclusively be used by us to send our newsletter, which contains information on all of our services. We will send you a confirmation email following your registration containing a link you must click in order to complete your subscription to our newsletter (double opt-in). You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link. Your information will be deleted by us within six months of unsubscription.

Social Networks - Use of the “2 Click Method”:

As part of our internet and web presence we use the jQuery plugin “Socialshareprivacy” developed by heise (project page:http://www.heise.de/extras/socialshareprivacy).
Socialshareprivacy is a two-stage solution that only transmits data to external network platforms with the user’s permission - also known as the “2 click method”.

By doing this we are enabling a higher degree of data protection for visitors to our website as data is not automatically transmitted to network platform operators (i.e. Facebook, Google, Twitter, LinkedIn, XING) when you view our website.

The positioning data recorded will be stored for 14 days and will then be permanently deleted. In future versions, we will enable you to set this time period yourself.

4. Forwarding of Information, Credit Assessment and Scoring, Other Purposes

We only forward information (e.g. name and address) that is necessary for us to fulfill the terms of the contract and to guarantee a smooth process, particularly in processing a concluded contract, or if the storing of your information is necessary for legal reasons.

When you provide us with personal information, this data is only used for the purpose indicated and to which you agreed prior to entering your information. We will only store your personal data as long as is necessary for the intended purpose of data collection or as long as is required by law.

If we have provided service in advance, we reserve the right to obtain a credit rating where applicable for the protection of our legitimate interests on the basis of the mathematical and statistical process adopted by credit agencies. For this purpose, we send the personal data required for a credit check to a third party and use the information received on the statistical probability of a payment default to make a balanced decision on the establishment, execution or termination of the contractual relationship. The credit report may include probability values (score values) that are calculated based on scientifically recognized mathematical and statistical methods and their calculation involves address data, etc.

Your protected interest will be considered in accordance with the legal requirements. You may access information concerning your stored data from the respective credit agency.

Information is not disclosed to third parties except that which pertains to the purposes mentioned for the credit assessment and processing of the contract and payment.

5. Statistical Evaluation of Visits to this Website

We collect, process and store the following data upon accessing this website or its individual files: IP address, website from which the file was accessed, file name, date and time of access, volume of data transmitted and a report on whether the request was successful (Web-Log).
